Based on the evaluation of the capacities and needs, a training concept was developed, which can be used for training and further education (training of trainers). Three different modules were developed which are aimed at a Training of Trainers (ToT) program at NDMA as well as other stakeholders for disaster risk management and climate change adaptation in the Maldives. The following modules have been developed:
- Introduction to disaster risk management and climate change adaptation for hotels and guest houses.
- Vulnerability and capacity assessments of hotels and resorts
- Development of a multi-hazard disaster risk management and climate change adaptation plan.
